About: Jane R. Bowman

Jane
R. Bowman, is a native of North Carolina. She has had a passion
for the arts since an early age. She didn't discover her painting
talents untill she was in her early 20's. She first took Decorative
/ Tole Painting Classess in 1983. From 1993-1994 she was President
of the Piedmont Painters Club. More recetly, she has been professionally
trained by Martin Alan Hirsch of Louisville Kentucky, the owner, and
master instructor for a Faux Finish School. Here, she learned the
art of multi-layered techniques to create sophisticated wall glazes
and textures, old-world, classic faux finishes, & furniture finishes. |
| She is certified from both
of Martin Alan Hirsch's classess the "Arts & Business of
Faux Finishing" and "Advance Designer Wall Finishes",
which she is Faux Effect trained and certified. Jane has also been
trained by Robert Elmore of Greensboro, NC in Robert Elmore's "Centuries
Old Finishes". |
